RTA Travel Incentive Ideas

There are so many different ways to implement travel incentives into various businesses, but we’d like to focus on what we know will work well for RTA’s.

RTA Uses:
  • Get more people to your meetings (ie: Show people that you “value their time” and that regardless of whether they join YTB, they’ll still get a free vacation just for coming.)

  • Get people to make a faster decision to join. (ie: Offer something extra for “joining tonight.”)

  • Get more people to book on your travel site more often (ie: “Bookmark my travel site and anytime you book a vacation on it, I’ll throw in an extra hotel stay.”)

  • Motivate and reward other team members

  • Create excitement at your meetings & travel parties by having drawings or give-a-ways. (Word-of-mouth will spread that you give vacations away at your meetings. Everyone will be sure to stay until the end to have a chance at winning that vacation.)

  • Ask for referrals in exchange for a “free vacation.” (ie: People don’t mind giving referrals if they’re given something of “high-value”)

  • Purchase certificates for other RTA’s on your team for meeting certain goals or achievements.

  • Create customer loyalty (ie: If everything being equal, people will keep coming back to you to book their travel because they’ll feel more obligated (since you gave them a free vacation) and you give them more value than anyone else.)

  • Use for generating leads – Get higher response ratios from your advertising & marketing.

  • Use for new RTA’s to get them started quickly (ie: “every new RTA on our team will ALSO receive 20 free hotel certificates to start using right away for inviting prospects to meetings”)

  • Motivate your team by having contests (ie: “whoever signs up 4 people this month will receive a free 5-day/4-night Hawaiian vacation,” or “anyone that makes their Power Team within their first 2 weeks, gets a 4-day/3-night trip to Las Vegas.” Lots of possibilities here.)

  • Motivate and reward RTA’s or individuals for hosting a travel party or meeting at their house and inviting at least x number of people. (This strategy can be very powerful if done correctly.)
